Maestro
Our Maestro monitoring system operates using a Maestro central unit which is designed as a multi - functional hazard monitor for bucket elevators and conveyors. The Maestro monitor is sent the information from two NumeriBOX units which are connected to the various safety sensors (range SensorJet) checking belt speed, blockage detection & bearing temperature. The NumeriBOX units are connected to the sensors at the top and the bottom of the elevator and transmit the data in a digital format which is constantly monitored ensuring that at the first sign of a malfunction action can be taken. The standard Maestro can monitor up to three bucket elevator systems simultaneously, by using an additinal relay module the standard unit can be upgraded to monitor up to fifteen elevators.
The main Maestro display screen indicates the following information for each elevator :
- The instantaneous rotation speed in rpm, followed by the difference as a pourcentage of the nominal speed.
- The linear displacement speed of the elevator belt in m/s.
- The theorical capacity (flow) for each elevator in real time in m3/h.
- The elevator operating time in hours.
- The code of the elevator.
The second Maestro screen indicates the temperature in °C or °F with the code of the elevator.
The connection between the Maestro (central unit) and the two NumeriBOX is digital.
Should the alarm sound, the system allows for the emptying of the bucket elevator prior to stopping it.
Clear and easy to understand display (Pictogram).
