STIF introduces a new feature to its EURAC compression fitting range: the detectable blue gasket.
This new blue gasket is an FDA silicone gasket containing magnet-detectable metal. Maximum operating temperature is 180°C. It is perfect for the food and pharmaceutical industries. In the event of small particles of the gasket finding their way into the pneumatic handling system, a metal detector located in the process will detect these particles and remove them from the process.
This innovative joint is available for all diameters and for compression fittings in galvanized or stainless steel.
